ENG🇬🇧/PT🇧🇷 - My "Mini-Take" on this album! - For this album, I can only imagine one thing: The scene from Ariana Grande's Wizard of Oz (The Wicked) movie with the enormous tulip field! I imagine someone looking out the window of a train as it speeds past a field of red tulips in the middle of an afternoon, where the sky is a kind of pinkish-orange... It's divine, it's ethereal, it's wonderful!

i adore you elizabeth fraser

cock twins hehe

A very great album

this album has some of the most energetic and magical songs on it. the synths and the guitars with the flangers and chorus sound incredible, and with the iconic drum sound this is the defining album of dreampop. start to finish this is fantastic, albeit a couple of slow songs there are NO skips. frasers voice and harmonies are genuinely perfect and the drive of this album; you don’t need to be able to understand the lyrics to feel the expression and beauty. ethereal production, sounds like you’re inside a filament bulb that keeps changing colour in space.

As a dream pop fan, this is truly the genre in its most literal sense. We go on a dreamlike journey guided by a voice that doesn't speak intelligible words but conveys emotions, accompanied by melodies and production that are... magical. I wondered if I was in Las Vegas, but now I'm 100% sure I was in heaven.

One of the best albums i’ve ever listened to. I even have it on vinyl! It’s simply fantastic and a must-listen to anyone who hasn’t. Completely introduced me to a new genre (dream-pop is what I believe this album is). Seriously listen to this, it will change your life. The production on this album is top tier and the vocals suit it perfectly, it createdsuch an amazing atmosphere when you listen to it. It’s unmatched.

One of the greatest albums of ALL TIME

Cocteau twins most popular and I would say their best album for good reason phenomenal album not a single skip on it 🤤

My favorite Cocteau Twins album. Every song is equally amazing and unique and I’ll never get tired of listening to them

9.5/10

Ts so beautiful 🥹

One of my favourite albums ever by one of my favourite bands. I really had to hold back from rating every song 10. And it was tricky to pick out and rate the weaker songs because there not that weak, there isn't a big gap between the good and the bad because there all so good!

this album sounds angelic, ethereal, and feels like it transforms you into a different space from the production to the vocals, which stands out a lot in this LP

Holy shit
