Best rap album from the 2020s imo

Genuinely crying

Genuinely the most underrated rap album ever

Cheat codes is easily one of the best albums of this decade and personally one of my favorite albums ever. Black thoughts elite lyricism is what really makes this album special, paired with the production from danger mouse, which I enjoyed most on darkest part, because, cheat codes, and sometimes. We had some great features throughout this album as well with my personal favorite being Russ. Black thought discusses black history, oppression, suffering adapting to harsh environments his experiences and struggles, his place in hip hop, and the darkest parts of America and Society. Tracks like aquamarine, and the darkest part really capture a lot of what this album talks about. Best song: aquamarine. Worst song: close to famous.

Amazing Album, With imo No Skips and only great Songs, the Beats and the Lyrics really make this a Special project and a Must listen for anyone

I remember listening to this album for the first time…. And now after so many years it’s time to rate it.. first things first this album has its ups.. but also has some lows with 2-3 skips which are songs that are kinda boring… the rest of the songs are amazing with great beats. Black thought did his thing with his pen undoubtedly. Overall I feel like some people overglaze this album, but that doesn’t mean it’s not one of the best albums of the 2020’s… But in my opinion this album is NOT album of the century as many rap fans claim it to be.

happy 4th anniversary to cheat codes by danger mouse and black thought. this album is what makes hiphop so special. black thought is a rap legend with his lyricism and wordplay from his freestyle in hot 97 to this masterpiece, embracing his talent to its fullness with danger mouse’s amazing production, fitting the album’s energy and with stand out features like raekwon, MF DOOM, joey bada$$, and run the jewels that make this album excellent. RIP MF DOOM
