Taylor is a good songwriter + Martin & shellback i had big expectativas, but this is disapointing, the only thing i would save is the chorus on ophelia opalite and pink clouding, pat 0 also but the Bridge ruins the whole song...Cleveland is AWFUL, she poisoned my ears.

Oh Taylor... This album is a mess idk what the thought process was on some of these. I really love Elizabeth Taylor that's a career highlight to me and The Fate Of Ophelia was also a really good single. Father Figure is a really well written gem. So is Ruin The Friendship. Opalite, Title Track, and Actually Romantic (overheated) are... Okay, but the rest of this album is a MESS. Eldest Daughter is one of her worst written song and makes no sense and the only point of it was an attempt to have a track 5 and failed miserably. Wood, Wi$h List, Honey, and Cleveland! Are my least favorite type of Taylor Swift song and should have never been released. CANCELLED! Is similar to eldest daughter to me in the sense that it's trying to create something, in this case to me a reputation vibe. Which sure? But for 1 it doesn't fit this album at all and 2 it's so terribly written like what are we even trying to say??? The deluxe songs are an improvement, I like Patient Zero other than the bridge which just wasn't there. Babylon and Pink Clouding are good but kind of forgettable. I think The Encore songs would be received better if that God awful song Cleveland! Wasn't on there. Overall, this album does have some good songs but it is extremely weak when compared to the rest of her discography. I don't think it shouldn't have been released but she should've waited and sat with this a little long because it does not live up to Taylors expectations.

Obviously her worst project. Some songs I can respect but delete the rest. An 8 year old fan could've releases better songs on bandlab.

Apart from “Pink Clouding”, which is an exemplar track from The Life of a Showgirl with a catchy chorus, a good bridge, and fun Lover-esque production, the other 3 deluxe tracks on the Encore add little to the base album. I love Taylor, but this album isn’t my cup of tea. “Pink Clouding” should’ve been a single.

not her best but overhated

The original album is not much. Very generic, but Taylor Swift is just an artist, she can flop, all artists flop. Maybe she even needed it to step down from that pedestal and breath a little. The deluxe songs, except Cleveland! which is very forgettable, are very much enjoyable. I was listening to Pink Clouding non-stop for the last few days and god is it catchy. They return to usual Taylor Swift The Bard, and while deluxe songs aren't extraordinary, they are good. Very good

The Encore songs really elevated this album for me.

I loved this album, despite all the hate and backlash. I think it shows her emotions well, and although it’s another genre shift, it still turned out wonderful.

Going to be completely honest here, as a diehard Swiftie of 12 years, I agree that this is far from her strongest of works, however, I do love it and think that it’s good!!
