So, i listened to Kendrick’s first album and the highs are high, but the lows are low. Overall i enjoyed the album, but it was a snoozefest that’s very good.

This album is AMAZING as a listener who doesn’t want to listen for secret meanings and all that shit all the time but it’s a solid piece of his work and imo arguably his best, and also it gets extra points because most nostalgic albums lost value over time this album with every playback gets better and better with the lowest song on this album being a 8.6

Overly dedicated is surprisingly good tbh. The production is good throughout. It has very few skips, with almost every song being complete and enjoyable. It has a fair amount of diversity between all the songs, but not as much as his later albums just because of his inexperience, this happens in other albums in his early career like Section.80 where they all have the same vibe that makes the album not great to listen to as a whole. It's an overall good mixtape that really paved the way for Kendrick's following career.

While this is Kendrick’s first full length project as a solo artist, which means it gets some slack. It’s still one of his worst works to date. But K.Dot’s worst is above a lot of peoples best so that’s not saying much. High’s are very high, and low’s can be extremely low. But nonetheless you can see the cracks starting to form as a precursor to what would end up being one of the best rap career’s/discography’s of all time.

I did not expect this mixtape to be as high quality as it is but it defied my expectations. The messages in these songs are perfect: deep but obvious and the rapping is pretty impressive.

My headphones died right after I finished it.
It's a pretty well-made mixtape, to be honest, in terms of production and lyrics, but it has a big problem: the rating is literally in the same order as the songs. The further you go, the more boring or meh stuff you find. The first five songs are pure heaven, although the ending is pretty bad, to be honest.

Underated Mixtape by Kendrick. This mixtape has some Underrated songs like Barbed Wire. Most Kendrick fans usually skip this album. This deserves to have more love.

This is such a underrated mixtape and i feel like Kendrick’s most underrated songs comes from this project. (Barbed Wire, ROTC, She Needs Me)

A great mixtape by Kendrick Lamar, no songs on the mixtape are particularly bad but definitely below average for Kendrick standards. My favorites are She needs me, Cut you off, and Growing Apart.
