Way too long, many horrendous songs and thug ruins almost every song he is on. Boring.

well there goes over 2 hours of my saturday. uhhh why did I listen to this??????? or better question would be why is this over 2 hours in the first place. Most of this album sounds the same, and to be honest most of the artists on the YSL end sound like they were forced to do this (which considering it's 41 songs it's a possibility.

Øway is carrying thug on this project, they are the reason why this album is listenable. Thug is washed he really needs 2 stop releasing music. Old man had his prime 10 years ago, hes destroying his catalog right now he really really needs 2 stop

Believe it or not I like Young Thug. I became a fan much later into his career than most but once things finally clicked for me, I found myself enjoying Young Thug a lot more than I had for years before. All that said, the feeling doesn’t really extend into the YSL crew for me quite as much. And especially across the 2 hour run time here on Slime Language 3. Starting with some of the biggest flaws here, 2 hours is just too much. Not only 2+ hours, but spread across 41 songs. There are so few artists that can pull off an album that long with that many song changes, and the YSL crew isn’t on that list. The first disc was pretty rough for me, the production was pretty bad and shined light on YSLs flaws as the production carried almost no weight. With the two worst songs for me being function & wait for it, both bring an early 2010s Young Money type of sound that I absolutely hate. Disc 2 thankfully brought an uptick in quality actually, with the production being noticeably better. Not to say it’s a good disc or equals things out, but it’s an improvement. One thing I appreciate about this crew album is that Young Thug is present heavily throughout the Slime Language 3. I like to see an album like this have the figure head being active and present through the album instead of taking a back seat. There are a bunch of features all over the album that range from solid to outright bad. With artists like Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Trippie Redd, Jorjiana, YUME, Future, Quavo, Skrilla & more spread around Slime Language 3. I can’t say there are any big highlight moments or songs, just a breath of relief when disc 2 wasn’t as bad as disc 1. This album was in a path to one of the worst of the year. Thankfully it balanced out enough to be about average. Which I expect and want more from Young Thug, but not much more from the rest of YSL and many of the features. This could have been consolidated into one album that might have been good. But that’s not what we got.

Well This album is terrible, honestly. Only 1 song out of 43 is good, I mean, seriously. They all sound the same, and the ones that try to change do it terribly. In my opinion, this album is a complete waste of time. The beats are so weird, and the lyrics are even worse.

41 songs 😭😭 Bslime, diamond and 1300 carried tf out of the project. It’s just uninspired overall with a few great songs, a few horrible ones and a lot of okay ones
