This fucking Underrated

A beautiful beat doesn't make it instantly good

The song has a rather peculiar sound—but not in a bad way. It evokes a unique feeling, one I don’t think I’ve ever experienced before. Yet, at the root of this strange sensation, there seems to be pain, matters of the heart, and disappointment. I can’t say for sure exactly what transpired between Kanye and Kim, but the emotions Kanye conveys feel incredibly sincere and authentic. It’s as if he’s constantly trying to hide these feelings these days—and I can understand why. The world Kanye inhabits is vast—a place where you’re expected never to compromise your ego. I think, beneath all that chaos, we can all see the good person underneath. I’m 21 years old, and his career spans a period longer than my entire life—a career built in the United States, no less. It would be nearly impossible for an artist like him to emerge in Turkey; we certainly have many highly valued artists, but none quite as extraordinary. And, after all, a touch of eccentricity always suits a musician well. In short, this man isn’t presenting a fabricated life like so many others; it’s his own life—the good and the bad alike. I think people should keep that in mind when they criticize him. The song is genuinely excellent—it’s as if his entire career, with all its various facets, has come together in one piece.
