This song is just decent for me, I’ve listened to it many times but it’s just never clicked, it is lyrically amazing but I just can’t get behind it.

Absolutely perfect song on this album, and delivers on every end. The Ash Riser chorus as the production builds is done so well and with suspense, and this whole song just feels like a movie happening. Truly feels like a m.A.A.d city lite. Kendrick snaps in his rapping performance, the chorus is catchy, sampling is done well, and it is just cinema to listen to. It is also crucial to the album and in future Kendrick albums, which just makes this already perfect song all the better.
