What A Time To Be Alive

Drake Album

Honestly a few people won’t be happy with some of these scores but it’s how I feel about this project. I guess when u compare this to IYRTITL which dropped same year it’s not as great but I still like a few of these songs. 30 for 30 freestyle is probs top 30 Drake and Jumpman is iconic and such a hype banger. Honestly if they would do a collab album now I personally think the songs would be better and the album would be better. Overall a 7-8 is a fair rating.

HABIBTI (FOMO)

Drake Album

This Habibti deluxe edition has made this album so much better, also improved ratings from last time as the album has grown on me but really we are focused on the FOMO songs here. I think they are unreal songs all 4 of them are amazing, solar Eclipse being a personal favourite. Honestly didn’t expect this to be out so soon but I’m so glad it is. This makes Habibti’s rating go up to an 8 honestly such a great addition and I’m glad they’re released finally.

PRIMA

ADÉLA Album

Honestly never heard of Adela until recently as her songs have been blowing up on TikTok so thought I’d give her a listen and honestly, she’s a very decent artist, give or take that her music isn’t exactly my favourite type of music around but it was an enjoyable listen. I think the production could be a bit better on some songs and sometimes it feels like the artist is fighting against the best but I enjoyed this a lot and will definitely keep an eye on Adela’s music career! Overall a 7-8 is a fair rating.

HEROES & VILLAINS

Metro Boomin Album

This album is amazing the fact it lost out in the Grammys is insane. Metro done so well with production but also picking who to bring in on the songs (although there was definitely room for Drake on Trance so dunno why he capping) either way I think this album is fantastic and has a lot of replay value. Overall an 8-9 could be reasonable for this album as its great performance and production stand out.

Nothing Was The Same

Drake Album

This is genuinely one of my favourite and one of the best hip hop albums in my opinion. A no skip album at such high quality and the fact he does take care then somehow does even better on his next album is insane. This is drakes best album of all time and it’s a certified classic. Pound cake/Paris Morton Music 2 is the best song on the album and definitely one of my favourites in his discography. Overall this could be a 10 but there’s always room for improvement in any artist and album.
