Songs For The Deaf

Queens of the Stone Age Album

When i first recommended this album for AOTW, i didn't really think anyone would really know or like it. Surprisingly, almost everyone gave it a pretty positive score. This album is one of my current favorites and i really like the overall vibe throughout. Some standout tracks for me are First It Giveth, No One Knows, Go With the Flow, and The Sky Is Fallin’. I first heard this album through First It Giveth and instantly fell in love. I'm so glad that I found this album and am really excited for the Album of the week going forward!!!

admittedly, the songs i knew from this album aren't terrible. but also, they're not good. the album is really saved by 1-800 and MAYBE bing-bong. besides those exceptions, most of the songs end up sounding the same throughout and have mostly generic or lame lyrics.
