Love Is A Kingdom

Tems Album

I've been seeing a lot of hype surrounding this project and i decided to give it a listen just to find the most boring rnb songs ever. The project is kinda repetitive with little to no uniqueness is each track. The productions are solid especially the kicks and 808s but the hooks are traumatising and really really boring. Compared to her previous works, this one is weak in a lot of aspect ranging from the structure to the overall vibe and lyricism which is kinda shocking to be cos her songwriting has been highly praised by the media.

Is There A Reason

First

Tems

It's just there. A regular and popular tune and structure used in the afro rnb space. It would've been a bit better if she did something different

I'm Not Sure

Tems

The productions here are hard but then again it's the regular alt rnb stuff. Nothing new with guitar hooks that are really predictable
