WASTELAND

Brent Faiyaz Album

Wasteland is a really good record, the beats on it really make it stand out for me. Brent's vocals on really entertaining and fun beats has me coming back to this album all the time. Songs like Gravity, price of fame and wasting time are constantly in rotation for me. The features on this album really stand out as well, Brent got some of the bigger names to help him on here like Drake, Tyler, and Alicia Keys. The smaller name features like Joony and Tre' Amani hold their own as well. Some track miss the mark on this album when the beat is a little too much and Faiyaz cannot find his footing with the track. Angel and Role model are the two tracks that felt skippable. This record is so good that those two songs are forgettable when I think about my feelings towards this record. I will keep coming back to Wasteland for a long time.
