Mitski is genuinely Shakesphere reborn. The way she is able to put feelings and scenarios into words is amazing, along with her subtle metaphors holding a heavier meaning. The tones of her music usually are sad and melancholy following some rock. Personally I didn’t like some parts of the songs but I know they are good. They deffinetly hold a special place in my heart since her music is there for people especially those who need to cry. The meanings and everything are perfect to be the shoulder people cry on. If you are getting into mitski this album or be the cowboy would be great starters.

Please don’t blame me, but this is the first time I’ve heard of an artist named Mitski. Maybe I’ve heard her tracks before, but I don’t know the artist herself at all. And she’s pretty popular, so if any of her fans come across this video, please write an interesting background story about the album and the artist herself. It’ll be fascinating to read. As for the album itself, it struck me as pretty straightforward and accessible, but once I read the songs' lyrics, I realized that it’s a pretty downbeat piece of work, exploring themes of depression, loneliness, self-loathing, and love. Overall, I enjoyed the work, which is so calm, quiet, and soulful. I now fully understand why it’s so highly regarded. The singer has a pretty good voice, the instrumentals are decent, and the album’s message is powerful. Keep in mind that this is the first time I’ve listened to this artist, and I don’t listen to indie rock very much. My favorite song is “Crack Baby”—it’s a really pleasant song for me, one you can relax and unwind to after a hard day, and the lyrics are deep as well. Is this album worth listening to? Yes.

Arguably her most devastating, gut wrenching album.

The only album ever and my favorite of all time There’s not much more to say, thats Mitski at her peak The collective needed a song like Your Best American Girl, and i’ve never felt more attacked by a song than with Dan The Dancer These two highs are the only thing you have to be looking for in any album, and Mitski did it perfectly
