Getter Album
This album literally saved me from severe depression. Visceral by Getter is a 12-song album that runs 54 minutes, and it completely changed who I am; even when I listened to it again, I still found myself in tears. The album blends future bass, electronic, and electropop genres, and it also reminds me of the lo-fi vibes. It’s one of his most criticized works, because fans were expecting only dubstep from him, not such an emotional, personal album, and I actually felt bad for him. I went through such problems when I simply hated people, always stayed alone in my room, and thought only about committing suicide. It was like a mysterious internal struggle within myself, caused by the death of my beloved grandfather and, most of all, an unacceptable infatuation; I was always apathetic and just struggling with excessive overthinking; I was way too fucked up. And it was precisely the sound design of this album that helped me through the hardest times. That whole cosmic atmosphere just reflected my loneliness. I always listened to this album; the tracks that moved me the most were “Made for You (Alone Again),” “Release,” “On My Way Out,” and “Purgatory.” I love this album with all my heart, because it was the only thing that helped me overcome self-hatred and depression and keep on living...

starnemesis Album
I kind of like this album—it has that witch house and industrial techno vibe, and there’s some breakcore at the end. This artist has only 69 listeners a month, which is just ridiculous, but he has his own unique style and sound design. It’s seriously underrated, and it really reminds me of Crystal Castles. My favorite tracks are “Pure Lies” and “Being Sick” because they sound absolutely sick. Is the album worth a listen? If you’re a Crystal Castles fan, you’ll dig it.

lowpace Album
This dude only has a measly 531 listeners a month, which is fucking ridiculous, he’s so seriously underrated, he writes some fucking awesome music. I listened to his album, which has 9 songs totaling 24 minutes, and damn, for something this underground, it’s really cool. The first half of the album struck me as pretty laid-back breakcore, but the second half is crazy, the aggression really starts to kick in. All the tracks sound sharp, though to me the album sounds a bit empty, there aren’t any samples or chopped-up anime vocals, just pure breakcore, and for me that’s not a big minus, but overall the album is really great. My favorite tracks: “last seen: 3 years ago,” “I can’t keep going back,” “I can tell if you’re….” Is this album worth a listen? You don’t have to, but it is worth it.

Akeos Album
I'm not that big of a techno fan, but I liked the tracks, even though they're always repetitive. I love listening to Akeos; I love her style, but the fact that she decided to experiment and release a three-track mini-EP consisting entirely of techno? That surprised me, but at the same time, the track I liked the most was “4 Triangles”—it has an interesting sound design that repeats over and over, always messing with my head, and it turned out pretty cool. Well, let me put it this way: this EP has such a momentum, such electric energy, and a sense of calm (I’m talking about “Libellule-Tech”)—it’s a pretty good release.

Sewerslvt Album
Personally, I liked all three parts of 'Cyberia', both the first original one and the third, but I listened to the second one the least, and it’s extremely different from the others. What can I say about this EP? Well, it’s energy-packed, the first track is pretty inventive, perfect, and slow, and I really enjoyed it, with a perfectly chosen sample and some raw, unprocessed sounds from Sewerslvt. The second part is honestly different from the others and fits into an aesthetic like industrial hell; it’s also a pretty well-made track, but it’s the weakest on this EP. And then there’s the third part, so energetic with a hardcore twist—it sounds like something that could have come from Slvtcrusher or blissful overdose. I love all the hype throughout the track; it always makes me want to dance.

Selected Ambient Works Volume II is way better than volume one, do you agree with me?
Selected Ambient Works Volume II
Selected Ambient Works Volume II Aphex Twin
10.0
"This is my favorite Aphex Twin album, and my favorite album overall in the ambient and dark ambient genres. With 24 tracks and a running time of 2 hours and 36 minutes, it’s simply incredibly long and beautifully immersive. The first time I listened to this album in the winter of 2025, I was completely stunned by how insanely amazing it sounds, especially all that gloominess in the album—you can really feel the whole experience. I gave 17 of the tracks a 10; people might think I’m being glazing, but these are actually incredibly amazing tracks. We could dissect this album for hours, so let’s begin with this: my favorite track is “#7.” You saw that video I posted back then, “When winter came, and you played #7 by Aphex Twin”? And so, it’s just a masterpiece of a composition, there’s something mysterious, and mostly it brings to mind a dark, frosty-feeling winter, and I’m really looking forward to winter so I can feel that vibe again. “#13” is by far the most depressing song on this album; it really sounds like disappointment, as if you see no meaning in life and just want to kill yourself. That’s how the sound itself comes across to my ears, pretty tragically. "#22" is the most uncomfortable and unpleasant of all the songs on the album, but to me it sounds like a narcotic. I just listen to this song and sit there in a stupor, feeling as if something strange is being done to me, or as if I’m inside a particle collider. "#3" and "#20" are the most pleasant and heartwarming songs; their soundscapes easily melt your heart, and they can easily be called the best tracks on this album. "#17" and "#19" are also pleasant and charming songs that lift your spirits a little and give you a sense of light freedom. "#4," "#5," "#10," "#12," "#16," "#21," "#23," and "#24" are dark ambient songs that give me goosebumps. they all convey such serious fear and anxiousness, and for me, these tracks are the bleakest on the album. All the other tracks are just as gorgeous, and it's worth mentioning "#1" as well, which sounds like a true ambient masterpiece. And to me, this album is seriously underrated, with only three songs having 10 million streams on Spotify. Dude, that’s way too little; every track is worth its weight in gold. This album will definitely become a favorite of mine. Is this album worth listening to? Fuck yeah, it’s a masterpiece, one of Aphex Twin’s best works."
