the whole album is an easy 10/10 cole completely drops his ego to act as a side character just to honor james life and his love for his daughter nina it is a literal crime how people downplay this masterpiece when the non linear storytelling insane clues and deep song meanings are right there if you actually pay attention a first listen might make it seem simple, but when you have the context of his other projects you realize it is a flawless unskippable benchmark for rap music

Amazing album, i’m not the biggest Cole fan and if i did miss something I apologize. I love 4YEO so much i would put it top 5-6 Rap songs maybe?

I still think this album has it's moments, but some of it has gotten boring and just mediocre in some parts. overall it grew off me.

Yeah this is J Cole’s best imo. The concept can make a grown man shed a tear. This album is truly a piece of art and I love how Cole told the story about his late friend. And even better making this album for his daughter. So sad to see gun violence in the world it kills too many people and shattered families. RIP
