This is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my whole entire life, my personal all-time favorite song. Just the best 7 minutes and 3 seconds I’ve ever experienced in music. Why do I think that? Because this song really helped me a lot (that doesn’t quite do it, actually) — it literally saved my life from suicide. I’ve had quite a few friends in my life (moreover, I confessed my love to a girl, and she dismissed me), I didn’t trust any of them; I was always alone, sitting in my room, thinking about how terrible I am. I was in a deep depression; it was winter outside, and I just couldn’t sleep normally. I wanted somebody to hug me, but I was all by myself. It was just eating me up from the inside until I came across Sewerslvt’s music. After listening to a lot of songs, I really loved them, but one in particular changed my life, and that was this track. So what did I find in this song? It’s that it sounds like my own loneliness. The intro immediately hooked me, but by the start of the first drop, I realized it was a work of art. The first drop (0:45) sounds like my own struggle against depression and solitude, giving it a melodic trance feel. At 1:30, it sounds too painfully, as if it’s something impossible to do, and the instrumental is fucking captivating. The second and third drops (1:53/3:22) sound like my fierce battle against my anxiety and the dark thoughts I was having. (4:07) is simply my favorite part of the song; it sounds as though I’m alone on this earth, as though nothing can help myself, and it all comes across as limitless melancholy. (4:57) The ending shifts to a dark, depressed ambient sound that shows how painful loneliness and schizophrenia can make you feel when you just need love or simply want to feel wanted. When I first listened to this song, it warmed me, as if someone were hugging me from the inside; it changed my view of life and helped me mentally defeat severe depression and suicidal thoughts. I’ve finally found peace of soul, even although I’m still lonely, without any friends, but with the realization that I’m just a person, and I’ve stopped worrying about it so much. Sometimes, when I’m feeling down again, I just play this track. I guess it’s my own personal medicine.
